Support
Tell us what’s wrong and we’ll fix it.
Support goes straight to the person who wrote the code — not a ticket queue. We reply as soon as we can, usually within a few business days.
Include this, and we’ll be faster
Which app and version, your macOS version and Mac model, and what you expected to happen instead. For Custom Mouse, also which Magic Mouse you use — a screenshot of its settings window helps a lot.
Refunds
If one of our apps doesn’t work as described, tell us within 14 days and we refund in full. Refunds run through Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record — see our refund policy, or just email us and we’ll take care of it.
Can’t find the download?
There’s no licence key — just the app. Search your inbox for the Lemon Squeezy receipt and open it on your Mac; it has the download button. You can also download it again from Lemon Squeezy’s My Orders page with the email you bought with, or email us from that address and we’ll send it.

Opening an app for the first time
Both apps are notarized by Apple, so macOS opens them after one standard question.
Move it to Applications
Open the download — a .zip for Custom Mouse, a disk image for Focus Clock — and drag the app into your Applications folder.
Open it from Applications
Double-click the app in the Applications folder.
Click Open
macOS asks whether you want to open an app downloaded from the Internet. Click Open. It won’t ask again.
If macOS says the app can’t be opened, or that it was blocked: open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to the bottom and click Open Anyway. The button appears for about an hour after you tried to open the app — if you don’t see it, try opening the app once more, then look again.
Custom Mouse then needs one more thing: Accessibility permission, so it can send clicks and gestures. Turn it on in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility — the app shows you where. Focus Clock needs no permissions.
Common fixes
Custom Mouse
Nothing happens when I tap
Custom Mouse needs Accessibility permission. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility and make sure Custom Mouse is switched on. If it was already on, switch it off and on again — macOS sometimes holds on to a stale permission after an update. Also check where you tap: by default only the front part of the left half responds (the settings window highlights it), and the right half responds only after you turn on “Right-side tap for right-click”.
Taps fire when I don’t mean them to
Lower the sensitivity in the settings window. If you rest your hand heavily on the mouse, a lower setting stops accidental taps.
Pinch-to-zoom doesn’t work in one particular app
A few apps implement their own zoom and ignore the system magnify gesture. Tell us which app and we’ll look into it.
It doesn’t start when I log in
Launch-at-login requires macOS 13 or later. On macOS 13+, toggle the setting off and on in the settings window, then check System Settings → General → Login Items.
Focus Clock
I can’t see it at the top of the screen
When no timer is running it tucks away to a small handle in the middle of the menu bar. Hover the top centre of the screen to open it. If nothing appears, open the Focus Clock menu-bar icon → Settings and check that “Show at top of screen” is on and that your display is ticked under Displays.
There’s no sound when time’s up
The chime follows your Mac: check the Alert volume and “Play sound effects through” in System Settings → Sound, and that your Mac isn’t muted. Also check that “Play sound when done” is on in Focus Clock’s Settings, and that Presentation Mode is off — while you present, the finish is silent on purpose.
It doesn’t start when I log in
Launch at login works once the app is in your Applications folder. Turn it on in the Focus Clock menu → Settings; if macOS asks for approval, allow Focus Clock in System Settings → General → Login Items (Login Items & Extensions on macOS 15 and later).
⌃⌥T does nothing
Another app may already use Control-Option-T; Focus Clock’s Settings then marks the shortcut “used by another app”. Change or quit the other app’s shortcut. Also check that the shortcut hasn’t been switched off in Settings.
It hides on one of my screens
While Presentation Mode is on, Focus Clock stays on the screen you turned it on from and hides on your other displays. Turn Presentation Mode off in its menu, and check Settings → Displays. (Mirroring works the other way round: both screens show the same picture, so the timer can’t be hidden on just one of them. To keep it off a projector, use the projector as a separate display and turn Presentation Mode on from your own screen.)
Updating and uninstalling
To update, quit Focus Clock from its menu, then drag the app from the new disk image into Applications, replacing the old one. To uninstall, turn off Launch at login, quit, and move the app to the Trash; to remove its settings too, run defaults delete tokyo.d24.focusclock in Terminal.
